I will not buy Sibelius though because that stupid keypad is not resizable (but I also don't like the fact that Finale doesn't support patch scripts for external synthesizers). I've been forced to use Sibelius at work and I mean, knowing what I know about Finale, it's pretty intuitive to me and I've been able to pick it up quickly enough to do all the "basics" with it. Honestly, my take is they both are capable of doing pretty much the same thing, and unless there's some feature you really need one has that the other doesn't, they're fairly equitable.Īnd on top of that, I'd say if you're used to the workflow of one, learning the other might be annoying enough that you may not care to do it.
